Robert Kraft is now one of the relatively
few lawyers who have been admitted to practice
before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Kraft was among a group of fifteen lawyers
who traveled from around the country to
convene in Washington, D.C. The lawyers met
for dinner October 14, 2002, and the next
morning they were each admitted
to the bar of the Supreme Court.
The swearing-in ceremony was performed in the
courtroom with all nine Justices attending.
Chief Justice Rehnquist stated he found the
applicants to be well-qualified for admission
and welcomed each of them to the bar.
The Supreme Court building is an elegant and
majestic structure, completed in 1935. Photos

Court Photos.
Whether we agree with the politics or the
recent decisions of the Supreme Court, being
in the courtroom and watching the Justices at
work gives us a great respect for the Court
and for our American system of justice.
Anyone with the opportunity should definitely
visit the Supreme Court.
