Below are two samples of letters you may
wish to send to Firestone and to Ford if you
have any difficulty getting your tires
replaced under the current recall. Be sure to
include your full address and your telephone
number so Firestone or Ford can easily contact
you.

I own a vehicle equipped with a form of the
tires referenced above. I am aware of the
pending recall of these tires and the recent
media reports of actual accidents involving
deaths and serious injuries associated with
failures of these tires.
I want my tires replaced immediately. This is
a serious problem and I want to ensure that my
family is not unreasonably exposed to death or
serious injury by these tires. Please
immediately advise me where I can have these
tires replaced free of charge.

to get replacement tires at that time.

on ATX and AT Wilderness tires can be
anticipated and predicted by a visual
inspection. I personally certify on the basis
of my professional experience, and
Bridgestone/Firestone certifies, that these
tires are safe from tread separation, under
normal use, for an additional ___________
miles. I personally, and the corporation
Bridgestone/Firestone, accepts responsibility
for any injuries that occur as a result of
tread separation on these tires.
